Just because life puts you 319 miles apart from one another doesn't mean you can't still be best friends. We're Kylen and Caitie, and we're here to fight the distance with our blog, so cleverly called 319 Miles. We met freshman year of college in Northwestern PA, and have been the best of friends ever since. Like we said, we unfortunately live 6 hours apart. So since we can't share our crafty ideas and inspirations in person, we're sharing them on this blog, and also with you! Here's a little info about us:

I love floral patterns and eat chocolate by the pound. I'm a former Christmas tree trimmer (don't ask) and a photojournalist, as well as a documentary filmmaker extraordinaire. And I've recently been doing a lot of freelancing in photojournalism for a local NJ newspaper.

I'm obsessed with knitting, and love potatoes. I'd drop everything for a road trip, and coffee and green tea can get me through anything. I teach knitting classes at a yarn store and would like to someday work for a knitting magazine. Tina Fey is my idol.
